The Arts Council commissioned me to do their Xmas card this year. What starts out as a strange thick little folded card unfolds to become a xmas message and then further unfolds to reveal itself as a piece of wrapping paper. There is a serated edge along the top fold so that you can tear the card bit off and be left with just the wrapping paper. I guess this a pretty good way of having another use for a xmas card.

A bad photo of a new papercut.

I have been working on a little stand up calender for Trilogy Lasercraft for next year.

2 commissioned lasercut Xmas cards for Julian Vogel at Modus Publicity and The Quarry Editing facility, both based in London Town.

Happy Xmas Card !!!

I have been tagged by Kat Hayes to provide 5 facts about myself and in turn ask 5 others to do the same.

1. I was born on Bonfire Night, my Mum was 34 and my Dad was 33
2. My Mum died on Christmas Day, she was 52, I was 19
3. I met my wife on Bonfire Night, it was my 18th Birthday we are together still 27 years later.
4. 'Our record' is 'You don't love me' by the Epitome of Sound. If you are a Northern Soul fan you will know this record, if you're not then the odds are you wont.
5. I am neurotic, insecure and full of holes. My work is just my attempt at filling them up and patching them over.

I tag
Hazels , Cornelia O'Donovan, Tom Barwick, Kate Gibb, and the lovely Emily. I dont know how to make this names become like things you can click on but they are all included in my links.

On Saturday we went to Alicia and Michael's wedding. They asked me to do the wedding invite and the whole thing was a total pleasure and a lot of fun to boot. It was great getting them on it too mainly because they are both so beautiful, but also because Michael has nice long legs which are nice to draw. It was cool having the words in bothe English and Spanish too !!

A dress I collaborated on with Gary Page akthough all I did was a bit of printing on it. The idea is that you buy this dress but when you get bored of it you send it back to Gary and he changes it ie Dyeing, reshaping etc. Its something to do with recycling ! The 2nd to last and last stage has my printing on and then a recut with jewels stuck on. I think it looks a bit of alright.

Get 'em while they're hot. (Burnt my fingers on these bad boyz this morning)

This is one of my papercuts which I have mounted onto red card. It will soon be available to buy on etsy as a print, but as I haven't got round to printing them yet i'm not sure what colours it's going to be in.
